Just played through Super Mario 3D World on the Switch. Never played the game when it was originally released back in 2013, so it was a new experience for me. I didn't have any expectations, but I really enjoyed it. Fun gameplay, neat music, and a story that doesn't make sense. A classic Mario game. Thumbs up!
I won't be playing Bowser's Fury anytime soon though. It's 30 fps in handheld mode, and you can tell immediately. The game actually feels slow and sluggish. And worse, it doesn't even look that good. Super Mario Odyssey runs at 60 fps no problem and looks ten times better. Feels like the game was put together in a hurry. Quite depressing.
I have a conspiracy theory: Bowser's Fury runs the Mario Sunshine engine (Gamecube) in emulation :-)
30 fps is not OK in 2021 Nintendo.
